DAVE & JEN CARTER in Thailand
(Postcard recieved from David & Jennifer Carter) Greeting & blessings from Thailand! We've been praying for you and we appreciate
all of your prayer and support. We are encouraged by your big hearts for God and your outward focus on missions.
It's very evident that you are not limiting God's power and we feel privileged to be a part of your family. In our time
of preparation to go on outreach (to China, then Thailand), God has been teaching us alot about His character through provision.
We're seeing Him answer so many of your prayers; KEEP PRAYING! Thank you again for your support. Love & blessings, David
& Jen Carter

We arrived in Bangkok last night around midnight
after an incredibly long but fascinating trip. We are staying in a hotel for the night and this morning we are leaving from
Bangkok airport for Chiang Mai. We encountered no problems whatsoever and everyone we met has been very helpful and
nice. Many people speak English and are very accommodating.
Thank you guys for everything and we will be in contact again soon to set
up skype times.
Have a Kingdom
day!!

SUMMER MISSION PROJECTS
In
addition to contributing to local ministries and organizations, Faith Baptist members support state, national, and international
missions through the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program, annual missions offerings, the church budget, and other designated
contributions. Your faithful, generous, and sacrificial support of missionaries keeps them on the field doing
what God has called them to do. Take time to visit each mission below by clicking on the images to find out more
about God's calling.

Emmanuel Ministries is an evangelical organization
that provides spiritual and physical aid to hurting people in Romania. Through the leading and power of the Holy Spirit we
believe our mission is to reach people with the Gospel, introduce them to Jesus Christ as their personal savior, and help
them develop a lasting relationship with their Heavenly Father and other believers in the body of Christ. This organization serves the church to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Connie Maxwell
Children’s Home provides hope for children and families dealing with difficult situations in their lives. This residential
childcare ministry is headquartered in Greenwood, SC with four other campuses across the state. Be a part of the future
and support the children of Connie Maxwell to bring them hope and healing!
Since Baptists came to South Carolina, they have had a heart for missions –
serving and loving people in the name of Christ. South Carolina Baptist churches have sent volunteer missionaries
throughout the world and nation and have been involved in missions work in South Carolina. State missions
include volunteer work through prisons, fairs and festivals, equestrian, migrant, literacy, multi-housing, prayer, resort
and seafarer ministries; sports outreach, hunger relief, and truck stop ministries to name a few. “…go
into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15 HCSB). The focus is on one
purpose – God’s ‘kingdom.’
In
1925, the Southern Baptist Convention established the Cooperative Program. The Cooperative Program, CP
Missions, enables all Southern Baptists to work together to support missions efforts world-wide. Through
the International Mission Board, Southern Baptists support 4,946 missionaries in 153 different countries. Your
gifts and prayers resulted in 451,000 new believers baptized in 2,000 outside of North America. Southern
Baptist’s support of CP Missions allowed the North American Mission Board to send out 5,081 missionaries last year and
help start over 1,700 new churches. Approximately 415,000 people were baptized last year as a result of
individual Southern Baptists becoming Partners in the Harvest.
